The opposition Coalition for Change does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia and will begin protests on October 27. This was stated by one of the party leaders, Elene Khoshtaria, TASS reports .
“These elections have been stolen, we will not accept this, and we are moving to continuous protests. This protest will be organized, they will begin tomorrow (October 27. — Gazeta.Ru),” Khoshtaria said at a briefing.
Shortly before this, the leader of the opposition party “Coalition for Change” Nika Gvaramia stated that she did not recognize the election results in Georgia. Mikheil Saakashvili’s party “United National Movement” also did not recognize the election results.
On October 26, parliamentary elections were held in Georgia. Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of Georgia Giorgi Kalandarishvili declared the parliamentary elections in the republic to have taken place.
