Ukrainian drones attack house in Tokmak and hotel in Energodar

In the city of Tokmak in the Zaporizhia region, a private house was damaged by the explosion of a Ukrainian drone. Deputy Governor of the region Anton Titsky reported this on his Telegram channel .

According to him, the drone attack was recorded at around 4:00 p.m. A residential building was damaged in the private housing sector: its windows were knocked out, and a garage and a car were damaged. There were no casualties.

After that, a drone attacked a hotel in Energodar , a satellite city of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. Fortunately, the ammunition did not detonate or catch fire. In addition, the Ukrainian side “attempted to attack a residential apartment building with a drone,” which led to similar consequences – no damage or casualties.

On Tuesday, November 5, it became known that the Russian military had thwarted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to seize the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant. This was stated during a briefing by the Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov .

The Governor of Zaporizhia Oblast, Yevgeny Balitsky, noted that the safety of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is reliably protected by the Russian army, and the radiation background in the station area is within the norm.

Earlier, the Director of Communications at Zaporizhzhya NPP spoke about the protection of the plant.
